- INFO -
In the year 1950, the team of the Electro-Precizia Factory from the City of Sacele (Brasov County) is established, under the name of "Football Club Precizia Sacele".

In the season 1950-1951, the newly founded team, FC Precizia Sacele, makes its first appearance in the Romanian Football Competition, starting to play in the Regional League of the County of Brasov, also known as Division D Brasov (a group of the Romanian Fourth League, belonging to the County of Brasov). This is the league where the only team from the City of Sacele, F.C. Precizia Sacele, will continue to play for the next 20 years, among other teams from the County of Brasov, registering average results.

In the season 1972-1973, FC Precizia Sacele finishes on the First Place in this league and obtains the Promotion to Division C, the Romanian Third League, achieving the first major success. The next season, 1973-1974, FC Precizia Sacele makes its debut in the Romanian Third League, finishing on the fifth place of the table.

In the season 1981-1982, FC Precizia Sacele becomes the champion of the Third League, finishing on the First Place of the table, and registers the second major success, by winning the Promotion to Division B, the Romanian Second League. At its debut in the Second League, in the season 1982-1983, FC Precizia Sacele is unable to avoid relegation, finishing on the last place of the table.

Therefore, in the season 1983-1984, FC Precizia Sacele returns to the Third League, where it will play until the season 1991-1992, when it finishes on the seventh place of the table, but it relegates to the Fourth League, as a result of the reduction of the number of teams, playing in the Third League. After three years, FC Precizia Sacele promotes to the Third League, in the season 1994-1995, after finishing on the First Place of the table.

Only one year later, in the season 1995-1996, FC Precizia Sacele wins the Promotion to the Second League, after finishing on the First Place of the table. The next season, 1996-1997, will mark the third major success and the best performance in the history of the team, FC Precizia Sacele finishing on the Second Place of the table, in the Second League, being very close to win the Promotion to the Romanian First Football League or Division A. After five years spent in the Second League, in the season 2000-2001, FC Precizia Sacele finishes on the penultimate place of the table in the Second League and relegates to the Third League.

The next season, 2001-2002, the team is very close to return to the Second League, finishing on the second place of the table in its league, but FC Precizia Sacele will win the Promotion to the Second League just one year later, in the season 2002-2003, when it finishes on the First Place of the table in the Third League.

In the season 1983-1984, the team FC Precizia Sacele achieves its best performance in the Romanian Cup, winning all ten preliminary rounds, played against other teams from the County of Brasov, and reaching to the round of Sixteen Finals, where it is eliminated by FC Dinamo Brasov, team which won the match against FC Precizia Sacele with the score of 1-0.

In the season 2006-2007, the team changes its name from "'FC Precizia Sacele" to "FC Sacele", as the most important sponsor, the Factory Electro-Precizia, withdrew its financial support and ceded the stadium and the playing field in the property of the local authorities. As a result, the Municipality became the most important supporter of the team FC Sacele and the owner of the stadium, playing field and training base situated nearby. The local stadium is called "Electro-Precizia" Stadium, with a total capacity of 3.500 seats, and it is the place where the team plays its home matches. The club FC Sacele is one of the teams with tradition from the County of Brasov and currently plays in the Romanian Second Football League, Liga 2 (former Division B).
